When the paper is dry and a medium is applied, a certain amount of forced tension deforms the paper. In this case, the tension between the wetness and the dryness creates a visual linear line in relation to these tensions. As a result, these contour tension lines, (visual linear lines) are unique to these particular tension lines, (the artwork in this case). As they are unique are they are unique to a particular paper/artwork, when mapped they become an identity to the uniqueness of that artwork/document, a sort of unique fingerprint.
